Tax Relief Committee

Tax Relief Committee

The Hopkinton Tax Relief Committee provides assistance to homeowners who need help to afford remaining in the homes they own here. Qualified homeowners who are seniors or are living with a disability who apply for aid receive tax credits that help partially offset their property tax bill.

Qualified applicants receive tax credits that help offset a portion of their property tax bill. The amount of credit awarded each year is based on the amount of funds available and the number of qualified applicants.

The Tax Relief Fund is a community-funded program, completely dependent on donations from residents, businesses, and other organizations. The community’s support of the program is a demonstration of Hopkinton's commitment to ensuring a diverse and inclusive community.
