2023 Annual Town Meeting

You must be a registered voter to participate in Town Meeting. Not a voter yet? You can register to vote online.
The Annual Local Election will be held Monday, May 15th at Hopkinton Middle School.
Hopkinton is participating in Vote By Mail. To request a ballot, you print out an application or register online at the Secretary of State’s Vote by Mail website.

Per the Town’s General Bylaws, our annual Town Meeting is held on the first Monday of May and the annual town election is subsequently held on the third Monday in May.

The 2023 Dog Licensing Period is Ongoing

Per M.G.L. c. 140 § 137, all dogs 6 months or older must be registered with the town in which they reside. Dog licenses cost $10 for spayed/neutered dogs and $15 for intact male/female dogs. The licensing period is January 1st through April 1st of each year. A citation of $25 (per dog) will be incurred for any dog registered after April 1st. The exceptions to the citation are dogs new to town or puppies reaching 6 months of age after April 1st, provided that your dog is still registered within two weeks of your dog becoming eligible under the law.
