SNOW & ICE

IMG_1585
The Highway Department is responsible for salting and sanding during ice and wet snow storms and plowing the snow off the roadways during the more significant storms.  The DPW also oversees the removal of snow in the downtown area and public buildings, as required.  Although the majority of snowplowing and snow removal work is performed by the DPW, the Department also utilizes the services of local contractors to complement the town’s fleet of trucks.

Safety is our primary goal.  Please respect the Town's winter parking ban to help with snow & ice operations.

CEMETERIES

The Hopkinton Highway Department, working closely with the Town's Cemetery Commission, is responsible for the operations and maintenance of Town-owned cemeteries.  Click here for more information.  For questions about purchasing lots or burial arrangements, please call 508-497-9742.
