Hopkinton Senior Center (28 Mayhew Street) is collecting your used Button Cell batteries to be recycled.  All proceeds will be used to benefit Health programs at the Senior Center.  Button cell batteries can be found in hearing aids, watches, and cameras and should not be thrown into a landfill.

 Additional Drop Box Locations: Hopkinton Senior Center, Town Hall (80 South St.); Hopkinton and Woodville Post Office; St. John’s Church, Hopkinton CVS Pharmacy, Hopkinton Drug, Community Covenant Church, the Verizon Store (89 W. Main St), Hopkinton Library, Golden Pond, St. Paul’s Church, Hopkinton Jewelers, Fairview Estates, 100 Davis Road Office and Stephanie G’s.

 Thrift Shop Hours:

M-Th 9:00-3:00 and Fri. 10:00-1:00


 


 


THRIFT SHOP

The Thrift Shop sells new and gently used gifts and household items.  Donations of goods are always accepted.  Please, no clothing or bedding, large appliances, furniture, TVs or monitors or items containing refrigerant.  

Hours:  Monday thru Thursday 9:00 am to 3:00 pm and Fridays 10:00 am to 1:00 pm

 2018 Annual Christmas Sale 

Friday, November 30, 2018, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday, December 1, 2018, 9:00 am to noon.

Don't miss this annual event! Even those who think they have plenty of decorations always find something they can't live without to brighten the holidays. The Quilting and Knitting groups will have tables of new handcrafted items for sale. We will also have a bake sale table and, due to the generous outpouring of support for our auction.

 


REDEEMABLE BOTTLES AND CANS 

Redeemable bottles and cans may be dropped off during business hours or left in the designated container by the side door.  On the second Saturday of each month, you may drop them off at the Hopkinton recycling center on Wood Street.  Our volunteers will be there to assist you.

The Friends group is the avenue used to raise funds for transportation and nutrition programs, functions and events that are not covered under the Council on Aging budget. Donations may be made payable to: Friends of the Hopkinton Senior Center.   All donations support the daily activities and needs of the Senior Center that are not covered by Town Budget.
