NSTAR Tree Trimming

NSTAR will be trimming trees around their electric supply lines throughout areas of Hopkinton.  Tree trimming is important to NSTAR and the community to help maintain the electric supply we depend on throughout the year.  Trees, and the branches that fall from them, are the leading cause of power outages in the NSTAR service territory.  Details of why NSTAR trims trees can be found on their website http://www.nstar.com/system_improvements/tree-trimming.asp .

NSTAR sent a letter to all residents who live on streets that will have trees trimmed.  An example of that letter can be seen here.

NSTAR produced a map which outlines the streets on which they will be trimming trees.  That map can be seen here.

If you have any questions on NSTAR's tree trimming work you should contact them at 1-800-592-2000.
