Located at the intersection of routes 90 and 495, the Town of Hopkinton encompasses is a large geographical area (28 square miles) with lots of natural resources, including three lakes, a bird sanctuary, and extensive trails ideal for many types of outdoor recreation.

Since 1895, the Library has been located in the heart of downtown just steps away from the Town Common. The Library building, filled with architectural charm and character, is a community-gathering place where people and information come together.

The Hopkinton Public School District is regarded by other school districts, institutions of higher learning, and employers as a center of educational innovation that produces critical thinkers, creative problem-solvers, effective communicators, and productive, healthy citizens.

Youth Services offers confidential clinical and programmatic services for all Hopkinton youth and families.  The Youth Services Department works closely with the town appointed Youth Commission to achieve improved health outcomes. 

Hopkinton is part of the Metrowest Veterans Service District.

The Hopkinton Cultural Council is comprised of members of the Hopkinton community, who meet annually to review grant applications and apportion state funding for local cultural grants.
